Diatomaceous earth is a natural insecticide against which insects cannot become immune!
When an insect moves over a surface sprinkled with diatomaceous earth, it penetrates and cuts the insect's waxy outer shell. The insect then dehydrates and eventually dies.
It is a very interesting ecological product!
Controls and kills silverfish, cockroaches, and other crawling insects: ants, spiders, beetles, wasps, crickets, fleas, bed bugs, and grain insects. Safe, effective, odorless, non-staining, non-toxic. Silicon dioxide product (100% present as diatomaceous earth).
